Bona Bros. Automotive Service is proud to announce that our General Manager, Matt Litynski, has achieved the highest score in the nation on his A.S.E. certification exams and has been awarded the A.S.E. Technician of the Year Award. The award is given to Master Certified Technicians who excel in high-tech computer control and electrical/electronic engine diagnosis and repair. This is truly an outstanding accomplishment in our industry, as there are over 400,000 A.S.E. certified technicians from various backgrounds; new car dealerships, fleets, independent repair shops as well as high school and college instructors.
Matt has extensive, specialized training that is directly related to his exceptional performance on the exams and repairs performed on a daily basis. His formal technical training is from Dunwoody College of Technology, where he received honors. Matt also took advanced diagnostic training at Alexandria Technical College where he received the school’s Merit Award for outstanding achievement in the Automotive Diagnostic Technician Program. This program allowed him to study extremely complex electronic systems on all makes of vehicles under the very best instructors in the country.
While we are very proud of his accomplishments, Matt is humbled by them. He states, “I am just doing my job to the best of my ability at all times – the same thing that countless other people do every single day.” The accomplishment that Matt is willing to boast about is his beautiful family. His wife, Lori, and two young children, Grant and Kathryn, more accurately reflect his personal feelings of pride and accomplishments as they build a family life together.
